Dos estereotipos

Estávamos no carro a ouvir rádio e estavam a tocar os "The Lumineers".

H: "Mãe, pareceu-me ouvir falarem em português?! Os Lumineers são uma banda portuguesa?"

I: "Oh, H... Claro que não são. São ingleses!"

H: "Mas pareceu-me ouvir português..."

I: "Vi-os na televisão e são mesmo ingleses. Têm aquela cara com muitas pintinhas e a cor mesmo muita branca que é a cara dos ingleses."

The Lumineers é uma banda de folk rock norte-americana 




We were in the car listening to the radio and  the "The Lumineers" were playing.


H: "Mom, I thought I heard speak in Portuguese ?! Are The Lumineers a Portuguese band?"
I: "Oh, H ... Of course they are not. They are English."
H: "But I thought I heard Portuguese ..."
I:. "I saw them on television and they are English. I saw one guy with many flecks and with a very white face whichis the face of English people."
