No fim-de-semana passado fiz um bolo de chocolate e estreei a boleira que a minha Mãe me deu. Coloquei-a no balcão da cozinha e a malta lá de casa foi-se servindo ao longo dos dias. A vantagem deste bolo é que se mantém óptimo vários dias. Quando a boleira ficou vazia, diz-me o H: "Mãe, acabou o bolo.", com olhar expectante como quem diz "vais fazer outro, não vais?". O I que ia a passar foi um pouco mais directo - "Mãe, não te esqueças de agora fazer com cobertura de chocolate.".
ahahah! Ganham-lhe o gosto depressa!
Acho que estão tramados, porque até estou a pensar fazer outro, mas quero variar e já estou a ver receitas para experimentar coisas novas. Coisas que não contemplam coberturas de chocolate...
Na fruteira atrás podem ver uns belos de uns marmelos (gentilmente oferecidos pelo meu vizinho) que também vão ter de ser "despachados" este fim-de-semana antes que se estraguem. Mas essa é a secção do meu maridinho.
Last end-of-week I made a chocolate cake and used for the first time the cake stand that my mother gave me. I placed it on the kitchen counter and the guys served themself over the days. This cake remains great to eat for several days. As soon the cake stand was emptied, H informed me: "Mom, there is no more cake." staring at me with expectancy meaning "you're going to do another, aren't you?". "I" was passing by and in a bit more direct way said - "Mom, do not forget to do it with chocolate icing this time.".
ahahah! They take it as granted very fast!
I think they're not lucky, because I am thinking to do another one. I want to vary and I'm already seeing recipes to try something new. And it doesn't include chocolate icing...
In the fruit bowl on the background you can see some nice quinces (gently offered by my neighbor) that will also have to be done by this weekend before they rotten. But this is something to my hubby to worry about.
